The Amazon Echo That I Found To Be a Perfect 10 Is Still Better, as an update adds useful new features and improvements. An email from Amazon advises owners who echo voice control is now possible for Pandora, Spotify and iTunes through IOS and Android devices.
Before this update of the Amazon Echo could stream music from phones and tablets such services, but the continuous control was not possible by the Echo. She performed by a basic Bluetooth speaker. All media controls such as stop, play, pause, next and previous, to be done on the phone or tablet.
Voice control with Echo is now supported for Pandora, iTunes and Spotify. As before, streaming music from these services should be started from the IPhone or Android phone with voice command supported when streaming is in progress.
In addition to this new feature, the update provides the following improvements :
- Response speed and accuracy increased to many of your questions .
- Extending coverage of the facts of Wikipedia .
- Adding new spelling words and definitions .
The update has already been pushed to my Amazon Echo, so check yours for the new features.
There is also a new "Simon Says" function that can get awkward Alexa repeat everything that is spoken after the sentence. Amazon believes that this will be funny to use another room using the microphone Echo remote to surprise those in the room with the Echo.
Applying Amazon Echo used to control camera settings, already available on Android and IOS, is now available for Android 5.0 (Lollipop).
