IOS 8 has a number of new features related to your location. It also has new privacy settings, allowing users to limit the length of the data is stored for as an expiration message features and new private browsing settings.
Before you do something like customizing your phone, load new applications, or synchronizing your data for the first time, the first seven parameters must be checked and, if necessary, modified.
1. Limit Track Your Position In The Background Applications :
Some applications will request to use your position in the background - even when you are not actively using it. If you see this message, it means an application wants to continue to use your location. You can see the popups and other notifications to the application, depending on where you are.
For more privacy, select Do not allow when it appears. You might have to do a number of times with different applications. You can always change this in the settings of your device.
2. Prevent Access To Applications, Downloading Your Data :
Your contacts, email, calendar and photos are some of your most personal pieces of data. You can define applications to access this data when they need it - for example, when Twitter shows a contact of yours has joined the microblogging service.
However, in many cases, these applications download your contacts list to their servers. This can significantly invade your privacy if the data is stolen. Go to Settings> Privacy and select each application, such as contacts, and slide or disable third-party applications that you want to grant access.
This may take some time depending on your applications. If you have already granted the application access to your contacts and other personal data, stopping the service does not mean that the service will delete your data. You should contact the company or application for this machine.
3. Activate "Find My IPhone" For Lost Or Stolen Devices :
If you lose your IPhone or IPad, you can usually find again with the Find Your IPhone. It shows on a map where your device, which can be handy if it is stolen. You can expect the application of the law in such a case.
Head to Settings> iCloud> Find My IPhone (or IPad) and make sure it is on. You need to enter your device's password to authorize this.

Anyway, it's good to keep local backups or based on iCloud for your old data.
To reduce the time in which the iMessage data is stored on your device, go to Settings> Messages> Messages Keep, and select the time you want to keep your messages.
Go a step back and check the audio and video messages and messages. These options provide shorter lifetimes .
5. Prevent Share Your Location To Others :
Although a very handy feature, if you are in a busy place like a town, city or crowded indoor venue, it acts as a beacon for your location. If you decide to disable this feature, head to Settings> Privacy> Location Services> Share My position. From here you can disable it. You can also choose to share other devices to places that are connected to your ICloud account .
6. Prevent IPhone Location-Based Tracking :
Some services on the IOS 8 track your location for advertising, location-based alerts, and enhance your cellular coverage. Not only can they be a drain on your battery life, they can also open to the location tracking service heavy - even if the third-party applications and services are not involved .

7. Limit Advertisers Tracking Your Location, Data :

A little hard to find because it is not in Safari settings, you can head to Settings> Privacy> Advertising and activate the option Limit Ad Tracking. From there, make sure you hit the advertising Identify Reset option and accept messages.
