Mobile World Congress is shaken up to be an exciting event for fans of smartphones and it sounds like 1st Mars could be an overwhelming day for journalists trying to cover it all. Samsung has sent out invitations for his upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, joining HTC, Huawei, and others.
Although no details are provided, the invitation image is reminiscent of the curve we see on the Galaxy Note Edge. Edge was a precursor to a new Samsung design element that will appear on the mass market device? Samsung will include a curved screen on another side of the device?
There were reports that Samsung may not be using the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 in its next flagship. In most cases, Samsung includes its own Exynos processor in the non-US equipment. Qualcomm chips have been used to support wireless networks in the US, but Samsung can move through their smartphone Exynos line.
Looking to the Edge note and note 4, expectations are that the Samsung Galaxy S6 include a latest generation processor, Android Lollipop, very high resolution screen Super AMOLED, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, improved camera, and use metal.
Rumors speculate metal could appear at the edges like metal Note 4 or complete as the A5 and A3. I hope Samsung sticks with a removable battery and microSD these yet defined features Samsung apart from most other manufacturers.
