Twitter added the ability to direct a message to more than one person at a time, which means that you can now have private group conversations about the service. They are also deploying the ability to shoot video, as well as edit and share directly from the mobile App Twitter. Both are moving to build Twitter in its product engagement opportunities previously left on the table, or other Apps.
The Twitter DM Group on means is closer to an instant messaging application and feature allows people to start a group DM with the faithful, regardless of whether these disciples succeed or not. If anything, it means that you may be more careful who you follow, as these people can now essentially you rope in conversation at some point.
Eventually a group of DM, which may include up to twenty people, offers Tweet shares and supports emoji, could act as a way to keep users within its own Twitter network. A Tweet interesting or provocative before today could have invited a sidebar, leading others to discuss something through a tightly controlled group setting with something like WhatsApp or even iMessage. Now that the sidebar can happen on Twitter, too.
The video feature allows users to record videos up to 30 seconds of the leader of the implementation of the length, and lets you edit them online with basic cuts. iPhone application users can download from the camera roll, and while Android users will have to wait a day later update for this feature.
Native video could mean people resort to using Twitter vineyard belonging within video sharing, but again the focus here is to keep users within the service, and to provide an experience that offers not only online content visualization, but also ensures users do not pop off on to another destination and potentially forget to come back. Restrictions Twitter video content (30 seconds of racing) also seem to be a good length for advertisers seeking new ways to reach the public on service.
